User-friendly payment kiosks are available in the lobby of City Hall, 2250 Las Vegas Blvd. N., 8 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Monday - Thursday, CLOSED Fridays and Holidays.

You may pay by cash, check, American Express, Discover, Visa, or MasterCard at our 2250 Las Vegas Blvd N. location.
For your convenience, the City of North Las Vegas includes a return envelope with every month's utility statement. Mail your check or money order (no cash) and include your payment remit slip. Allow 5 days for processing.
Night Drop
Drive through and drop off your check or money order payment 24 hours a day. There is a night drop location in the Front side of City Hall Building at 2250 North Las Vegas Blvd. Payments received in the night drop box by 5:00 pm will be posted the next business day. Include your payment remit slip and write your account number on your check or money order. NO CASH OR DELINQUENT PAYMENTS.
Credit Card
Pay your utility bill with your American Express, Discover, Visa or MasterCard. A customer service representative will assist you during normal business hours by calling 702-633-1484 between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:45 pm Monday through Thursday (closed major holidays).

Enjoy the convenience of paying your utility bill at various Smith's and Albertsons stores throughout Southern Nevada. Giving you extended hours and more options for paying your utility bills.

Automatic Payment
Pay your utility bills with an automatic withdrawal from your bank account. Print the automatic payment plan application. Mail it in with your next utility payment.
Third Party On-Line Payment
Pay your utility bill on-line through a third party process. Please contact your financial institution for more information.
Deposit: Residential customers with lease agreements are required to present the lease agreement and pay a utility deposit of $150.00 at the time of signing for services. Commercial customers with lease agreements are required to present the lease agreement and pay a utility deposit, amounts vary. New homeowners may call customer service to start service. Escrow information is required. The utility deposit is waived. Please call Customer Service for more details at 702-633-1484.
Late Fees: Failure to pay the entire amount shown on the monthly bill by due date will result in a late penalty charge of ten (10) percent.
Return Check Fees: If your bill was paid by a check not honored by a financial institution, the account will be assessed a $25.00 returned check fee and be subject to disconnection of service(s).
Reconnection Fees: If the utility service is disconnected for non-payment, the total account balance and a reconnection fee will be required to restore service. Fee for same day service before 3:00 pm is $25.00. Fee for same day service after 3:00 pm, weekends and holidays is $60.00.

How do I close my utility account if I no longer need the service?
Call customer service at 702-633-1484 and a customer service representative will take the required information. You must provide the date you would like your account closed and the mailing address for the final bill and/or refund.
How do I read my utility bill?
How to read a bill
My water use seems high. What should I do?

A dripping faucet or constantly running toilet are obvious problems, but many leaks are hidden and can waste thousands of gallons of water each year.

  • First, locate your water meter. The mater can be found at the front sidewalk.
  • Turn off ALL water-using devices, including faucets, dishwasher, washer, sprinklers, drip irrigation and evaporative coolers.
  • Locate your water meter and write down the number currently showing on your meter.
  • Wait 20 minutes.
  • Again, write down the number on the meter.

If there is a change between the numbers, you have a leak.

If you have identified a leak, how should you proceed? You can easily do some repairs, while others require the services of a licensed plumber.
